The Concept of Suhrawardi’s Hudhuri Epistemology and Its Relevance to the Contemporary Challenges

Suhrawardi was a philosopher and Sufi who robustly influenced the development of sciences. With his philosophy illumination (Hikmah al-Ishraq), he proposed concept hudhuri epistemology by which fought against domination rationalistic skeptical peripatetic that ultimately negated all forms metaphysics. This paper aims to reveal Suhrawardi's epistemology, anxiety criticism validity problem philosophy, role hudhuri's in responding contemporary scientific challenges. work is library research using documentary techniques collect necessary data. The collected data were analyzed utilizing descriptive-analytical method. study finds presents view metaphysics dimension cannot be separated from can rationalized.
